Adrian Salman, a gifted American-French bass opera performer of Syrian origin, captivates audiences with his exceptional deep voice, classified as the rare “Basso Profondo” tonality. He began his musical journey at the Higher Conservatory of Damascus, studying musicology and developing his vocal skills under the tutelage of renowned Russian soprano Nathalia Kirichinko.
In the United States, Adrian further refined his craft with distinguished masters like Michel Sénéchal and Francois Loup, laying a strong foundation for his operatic career. He continued to enhance his talent through masterclasses across Europe and the U.S., impressing audiences with performances of Mozart, Verdi, and Russian operatic repertoire.
A graduate of the prestigious La Schola Cantorum in Paris, Adrian perfected his operatic skills under the guidance of international mezzo-soprano Nadine Denise. Alongside his vocal achievements, he boasts over 15 years of experience as a flamenco dancer, having shared the stage with legends like Antonio Canales and Carmen Ladesma.
In addition to opera, Adrian is also a skilled performer of French variety songs. He has recorded and performed works by iconic French artists such as Charles Aznavour, Michel Polnareff, Dalida, Sacha Distel, and Claude Nougaro. Adrian’s versatility across genres showcases his artistic depth and his profound connection to the rich cultural heritage of French music.
